Ambassador Liu said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Cyprus diplomatic relations. It is also the first year for China's building of a modern socialist country in an all-round way. China-Cyprus relations are embracing new and important development opportunities. China is willing to make active efforts to promote cooperation in agriculture and green economy between China and Cyprus for mutual benefits and win-win results. Minister Kadis sincerely thanked China for its strong support in Cyprus' fight against COVID-19 and the Cyprus Problem, and expressed willingness to work with China to further deepen and expand the cooperation between the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on topics including celebration events for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the export of agricultural and aquatic products from Cyprus to China.
