To further promote exchanges between China and foreign nationals, China has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from Cyprus and 44 other countries (see attached list) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026. Eligible travelers for purposes of business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits and transit with a stay not exceeding 30 days, may enter China visa-free. Those not meeting the visa-free entry conditions will need to apply for a visa before entry.
