The "Chinese Dream" themed Open House Event was held in the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus on 20 June 2013.

Ambassador LIU Xinsheng delivered a speech entitled "The Chinese Dream We Dream" introducing the Chinese history and culture and the great development achieved in recent years, focusing on the "Chinese Dream" and the vision of China-Cyprus relations.

 

More than 50 guests were invited to attend the Event, including Mr. Marios Ieronymides, former Ambassador of Cyprus to China and Director of the Division of Overseas and Repartriated Cypriots of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Ms. Evie Hadjiyianni, Director of International Relations Service of House of Representatives of Cyprus, Ms. Christina Stephanou, Treasury Officer A' of Cyprus and other officials of the government of Cyprus, the members of the Central Committee of the EDEK Social-Democratic Party who will visit China, the university students who have got the Chinese Government Scholarships and the students who will go to China for UNESCO International Youth Summer Camp on Chinese World Heritage.
