"China Green" Opening Ceremony was Held

The opening ceremony of the public park "China Green" was held on 4 February, 2015 after its completion last December, more than 30 people including Ambassador Mr. Liu Xinsheng, Mayor of Engomi Mr. Zacharias Kyriakou, municipality councilors and embassy and construction company representatives were present.

Mr. Zacharias Kyriakou gave a speech appreciating the Chinese Embassy's initiative and contribution to the park. Ambassador Liu Xinsheng also commended the successful opening of the park and the good cooperation between the Embassy and the Municipality. He expressed his wish to work with the local community and people across Cyprus to further the traditional friendship between the two
Countries. The park, "China Green", is a testament to the ever growing relationship between China and Cyprus.
