H.E. Ambassador Liu Xinsheng and his wife visited ANT1 TV Station on 30 September 2013. Mr. Fei Shengchao, Political Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy was present.

Ambassador Liu met with Mr. Loukis Papaphilippou and Mr. Stelios Malekos, President of the Board and Managing Director of the ANT1 TV Station. The two sides exchanged views on how to enhance media exchanges and cooperation between China and Cyprus.

Ambassador Liu visited the studio of ANT1 FM radio, and extended his congratulations and good wishes through ANT1 FM to the people of Cyprus on the Independence Day of Cyprus, which happens to be on the same day with the National Day of China.

Ambassador Liu also gave an interview to the ANT 1 TV Station, and expressed his view on China-Cyprus relations and bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
